Privacy Policy

      DiscTrail does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
      All video processing happens entirely on your device — nothing ever leaves it.
    

1. Who We Are

DiscTrail ("the app") is developed and maintained by Evan DeLancey. Questions about this policy can be sent to:

2. Data We Do Not Collect

DiscTrail collects no personal data whatsoever. Specifically, we never collect:

Your name, email address, or any account information
Videos or photos you load into the app
Location data or GPS coordinates
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics, diagnostics, or crash reports
Any data that could identify you as an individual

3. On-Device Processing Only

Everything DiscTrail does — loading your video, drawing the disc flight trace, and exporting the finished clip — happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad. No video data, trace data, or any other information is uploaded to a server or shared with any third party.

4. Device Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

Photo Library (read) — to let you choose a disc golf video for analysis. We access only the specific file you select; we do not browse or copy your photo library.
Photo Library (add) — to save your exported flight-trace video back to your photo library if you choose to. Nothing is saved without your explicit action.

You can revoke either permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos. Revoking access will prevent video import and export but will not affect any previously saved files.

5. Third-Party Services

DiscTrail does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store; Apple may collect its own usage metrics as described in Apple's Privacy Policy .

6. Children's Privacy

DiscTrail is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data at all, it poses no privacy risk to users of any age.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version at this URL. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
